“I love the process of scavenging for old jewelry and beautiful, interesting beads and creating new potential for them.”
ABOUT JENNIFER
I started making jewelry 16 years ago, teaching myself simple techniques. I worked from a small box of supplies on a tiny side table in my family room after my three young children went to bed.
Over the years, I have expanded both my skills and creativity. Today I create one-of-a-kind pieces using mixed metals, semi-precious gemstones, and beads of all types. I often take apart old pieces of jewelry and reimagine them into unusual designs that blend vintage character with contemporary wearability. Every piece is unique and designed to be versatile.
I love the process of scavenging for old jewelry, beautiful beads, and unexpected materials, then giving them new life and purpose. Through my work, I invite people to think outside the box when wearing jewelry. I hope my designs are worn as art—appreciating the organic beauty of stones and metals while celebrating the fun of quirky, original style.
I am also a COLLECTOR and love treasure hunting for vintage decorative items, art, glassware, clothing and curiosities of every kind! As I’ve gotten older, I’ve grown more appreciative of craft, design oddities, handmade objects and color! I see so much art and beauty and humor in objects - handmade and natural, and I encourage you to do the same. Don’t think too much about the practicalities — if you love it, find a place for it and enjoy it. It doesn’t have to be intrinsically valuable or in style. Surround yourself with things and people you love!
I encourage you to find inspiration in your surroundings and to create joy and meaning in everyday items that you wear and use.
I'd love to hear from you! Please contact me with any questions and come visit me at my sales, art shows, and antique booth.
